Not able to import tables Metadata from Database via JDBC Rcv CC
Hi All,
I have configured the JDBC Receiver communication channel to fetch tables metadata from Teradata Database.
The JDBC Receiver CC contains all the required parameters:
i) JDBC Driver
ii) Connection
iii) User Id
iv) Password
Issue: when I am trying to import the table metadata in external definition(ESR) via JDBC Rcv channel, then I am not able to see my expected table to import it.

It attempting that route...I almost wonder if sybmigrate might be a solution for you - it can copy schema and data from one server to another.....not sure if ever tested/certified with 11.9.x, but the CIS components are all there for it. You'd have to run it from the 15.7 side....

TCVIEW - MIGO - table control by plant
hello everyone.
I was inquired to provide a solution to this problem, hid the field MIGO_OK_EXPAND to one of our plant.
The problem is that, users don´t have access as administrator, when they go to MIGO, and hit in the very right side of the MIGO where we have the Table Control Settings, they are not able to change table control.
So I found the OSS Note 68198 TCVIEW maintenance of system-wide user settings, but after follow the procedures we were not able to have one new GlobalSettings2 where we can request users to go there and select it.
When I go to SM31 table TCVIEW and copy the existing variant and copy it user by user, so it works, Im able to ask user by user to do this, the problem is that we have 43 users that access MIGO GR, so to copy 122 entries for each user this will take a long time and will make us to repeat procedure all the time we have new user engaging our company.
Does anyone has found another solution to create a new layout and make it available for all users in SAP ?

Solution
System-wide settings of a TableControl can be created as follows: Log on with your own user ID. Call
the transaction with the TableControl to be set. Set the TableControl as desired. Specify a name for
the created variant and save it. Call Transaction SE16. Table TCVIEW. Import the variant created
with key: TCUSER, TCPROGRAM, TCCONTROL, TCVERSION = (name of the saved variant). If required, check
in the system status or screen (loop at xxx with Control "Controlname"...) for TCPROGRAM and
TCCONTROL. Select all entries of the variant. Choose function "Create w/reference". Now copy each
selected table entry, where field TCUSERTYPE must have value "A", field TCUSERDEFAULT must be empty
and field TCSYSTEMDEFAULT must have value "SD". Save table entries.
The settings created this way appear as a global option for each user from now on.
Transaction SE16 is also used to delete these settings, where TCUSER, TCPROGRAM, TCCONTROL,
TCVERSION and TCUSERTYPE = A (administrator) are used for reading, and the entries found are deleted
afterwards.
Caution! If the end users generated individual variants, these become effective before the system
settings and must be deleted if necessary.
In some cases, problems occur if the application uses the function module "GetUserStandard". In this
case, the above-mentioned settings are not taken into consideration. A long-term solution is only
available with Release 4.0, which offers a new concept for system-wide TableControl variants.

Is it standard IDoc or custom Idoc ?
I assume your case might be you may be processing an custom Idoc to post data to a custom table and upon update you may need a outbound idoc to the other system. If this is the case then while processing the Idoc to update the data in custom table you need take care upon successful update. You can use FM 'MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE to create outbound IDocs. In that case also you need to populate the Idoc - Control segments ( reading the control records EDIDC data of existing IDOc against which you will create the IDoc) and Data Segments (you need write your logic).
If standard idoc, please provide the details.

32 bits vs 64 bits Sap business one Client
Hello Experts
Can someone share your experience regarding the performance between 32 bit client and 64 bit client?? Is there a really performance improvement??
I have been reading some articles, and may be the performance its just related to big operations??
Does any one has a real example of perfomance imporvement between 32 and 64 bit?

Yes, this is possible using the discontinuation process. You can mark the discontinuation indicator on tab MRP of of the material master and define the new material as the "follow-up" of the old material.
The discontinuation is used by MRP and by production orders but I'm not sure if it will affect production order which were already created. I believe that you will need at lead to re-read the production order master data.
I suggest you to read carefully the following note for more details about this functionality:

How to return Balance in Carry Forwarded Budget after Purchase Order created
Hi Experts
My client requirement is not to make balance of carry forwarded budget available in current year. It should return to previous year.
Suppose a PR is made in 2013 of amount 1000000.00 for 10000 qty.
value per qty is 100.00.
In the year 2013 PO created for 5000 qty is of amount 500000.00.
And at year end remaining amount 500000.00 has been carry forwarded to 2014.
Suppose now material price is reduced in 2014 to 80.00 per qty.
Now in 2014 PO created for remaining 5000 qty and amount 400000.00 will be consumed and balance amount 100000.00 will be freely available in year 2014.
As per requirement the balance amount 100000.00 should not be available for 2014. It should return to 2013.
Our main concern is that, we want reminder budget not be available / used in 2014 (carry forwarded year). It should return / blocked / released to 2013 ( original booking year).
Please suggest me how to achieve this functionality.
Its showing available in 2014 in report 'FMRP_RW_BUDCON'.
Is there any standard configuration available for this or need to make derivation rule or any kind of enhancement possible or any other way is there.

Shopping cart item status is error in process - In ECS
Hi Experts,
We are in SRM EHP 2 with extended classic scenario. There is a shopping cart which is approved and there is no PO created. When we checked, the item status showing as Error in Process. In BBP_PD, I1112 is active (Error in transmission). We checked in SLG1 but we don't see any error logs.
Could you please advise how to proceed further with the same SC..?
